Solar Freaking Roadways!
Humans make an incredible and worrying impact to the environment every single year. Energy is made by the process of burning fossil oil that is acquired from an oil well. The burning process ejects TONS of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere of earth, damaging its ozone layer, its fauna, and even the concrete jungle (smug in the city). But the sun is a free source of energy. And what’s more impressive is the fact that it will be for around 15 billion more years! It’s super clean too! Acquiring energy from the sun is a simple as putting solar panels and an engine that transform that solar energy into electricity. Why haven’t we funded that yet? Well, guess what. Even thought the idea of solar panels has been floating around (and in some places funded in small scale), we haven’t made it “Big Time” – yet. Until now! Solar Freaking Roadways?! The future is here, and we should make sure that this becomes “Big Time”. We are going to replace roadways with solar panels, so we can produce MASSIVE amounts of FREE AND CLEAN ENERGY. If we were to replace ALL roads of America, we could be producing 3 TIMES more energy than we actually consume in a YEAR!
